Verdun – release trailer revealed

Verdun, a World War I first person shooter that thrives on providing authentic trench warfare, has officially released today after a lengthy but successful Steam Early Access “beta”.

The full release of the game has come with a surprise in the form of a new sector in the Western front, namely Aisne. Unlike previous implemented maps, Aisne has been barely untouched by the ongoing warfare which allows players to venture into unseen scenes of green.

Fortunately, the developing of the game doesn’t simply stop here. In time, the developers are planning to release more free thematic expansions such as Belgian and American troops for Entente, special German troops for Central Powers, new game mode, Fort Douaumont map and much, much more. Check out the release trailer below for Verdun’s exciting features.

The game is available on PC, Mac and Linux systems via Steam and has a special 10% release discount for those who weren’t keen on playing Early Access games.
