Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III Reveals Howling Banshees
Fast, accurate and murderous. Introducing the Howling Banshees, a clan of well trained female Aspect Warriors. Thanks to their light weaponry, they have a huge advantage in hand-to-hand combat. The Howling Banshees are armed with Shurikes Pistols and Power Swords, but their deadliest weapon is on their face. The Banshee Mask is equipped with a powerful amplifier which amplifies the famous howl of the banshees. The effect of this howl is so powerful that most enemies will get paralysed by fear.
The playstyle of the Howling Banshees is also quite peculiar. In small numbers they’re weak, but in large numbers Banshee armies can be absolutely devastating. By combining their fast movement and crowd control abilities, the banshees are able to pin down armies so that other units can attack and eventually destroy them.
Listed below are the abilities of the Howling Banshees:
- Fleet of Foot: Raised speed and faster shield recovery within the psychic ray of the Wabway Gate.
- Battle Scream: When Howling Banshees are storming into battle, they release a pychic howl which will slow down enemeies in certain areas.
- Quick Strike (upgrade required): The Howling Banshees rage forward in a straight line, all enemies on their path will be damaged and pushed back.
