Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III Unit Spotlight: Wraithlord
To keep the fans warm for the release of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, the friendly developers at SEGA and Relic Entertainment have announced a new character today: the Wraithlord. Wraithlords are a bigger and beefier version of the Wraithblades and are only to be controlle11d by the most respected Eldar spirits who are kept in spirit stones. Although the Wraithlords are easy to find, the Edlar souls proficient enough to become dominant over them are. Because of their impressive size these special construction have the ability to form reinforced front lines and will be able to storm at the enemy troops with great speed and hit the foes with critical damage.
Wraithlords have two main abilities namely:
- Glaive Charge (Q): The Wraithlord chargers towards the adversaries and fearlessly bashes into them head-on. After his attack ends the Wraithlord will deal damage and will lash around at the hostile party to push them backwards.
- Ethereal Wall: “Make our battle great again” by temporally blocking enemy fire with an Ethereal wall. Units that come in contact with this wall will gain a short buff or de-buff: while allies will gain speed, the opposites will suffer slowdown.
