Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is getting some new features

Some of you might remember the name Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap as a game that was released by Sega around 1990. Today, DotEmu and Lizardcube have made it their job to release this retro title on the PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. Of course, this remake has top-notch graphics and you’ll probably barely recognise the pixelated scenery from the older version but the developers have thought about this. If you would rather play this game with the old-school sprites, you can go to the ‘Retro’ feature. You can switch in-game between the updated or old graphics at any time, which is quite cool. Even more, you’ll be able to use your old passwords to start where you left off so many years ago… I suggest you delve into your old schoolbooks or notes as you will be able to purchase this game this spring.
