Xuan Yuan Sword finally makes its western console debut with Xuan Yan Sword 7
The Xuan Yuan Sword franchise has long since been a staple for action RPG series in China. So it might be a bit surprising that after more than 30 years, this series still hadn’t made its way over to Western shores. Independent developer and publisher Eastasiasoft finally aims to change this, as they’ve just announced they will be releasing Xuan Yuan Sword 7 for PlayStation and Xbox platforms this summer. Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is said to be an easy entry point for new players, with its own stand-alone story and lore that should be a great place for prospect fans to get started. Set in China, 2000 years ago, Xuan Yuan Sword offers a refreshing blend of Chinese culture and mythology as you sword-wield your way through the world.
