Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is now available!
NIS America is excited to announce that Ys IX: Monstrum Nox for PlayStation 4 is now available to play in North America, and will soon release on February 5th in Europe and February 12th in Oceania. The game follows the series long-time protagonist, Adol Christin, and his companion Dogi arriving at Balduq, a city annexed by the Romun Empire, only for Adol to be arrested before setting foot inside.
While captive, he meets a mysterious woman named Aprilis who turns him into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural Gifts and the power to exorcise monsters. Now, Adol must ally with his fellow Monstrum to fend off the fearsome threats emerging from a shadowy dimension called the Grimwald Nox, as well as unravel the mysteries of the Monstrum curse, and the truth behind the unrest within the city itself.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is available now on PlayStation 4 and 5 in North America, with the Europe and Oceania versions releasing on the 5th and 12th of this month. The PC and Nintendo Switch versions will be available during the summer of 2021.
