11 bit studios’ The Alters Expedition Log 2 has been revealed!
Following the unveiling of The Alter’s first Expedition Log at the Future Games Show, the second of a total of four Expedition Logs has now been revealed. This is 11 bit studios laying the final groundwork before announcing the final release date for the game. In The Alters, players are constantly struggling with how to keep all the so-called Jans happy. Those Jans are alternative versions of the protagonist, Jan Dolski, who’s the sole survivor of an ill-fated space expedition.
In Expedition Log 2, 11 bit asks an important question: “Can you handle MORE of yourself?” The log shows that as you progress through the game, new ‘Alters’ will join you to help you overcome the challenges of your mission. But just like human beings, they are subject to stress and other dangers as well. Alters are different versions of Jan, with individual, sometimes mutually exclusive needs that you’ll need to take into account. It won’t be possible to please everyone, so you’ll have to balance the needs of the Alters and the mission.
The Alters will come to PC and consoles in late 2025. It will also launch on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass.
