40v40 squad-based tactical shooter ‘83 reveals new overview video!

Blue Dot Games has revealed a new overview trailer for ‘83, their upcoming 40v40 squad-based tactical first-person shooter set in an alternate 1983. This video is the first in their Developer Tape series, presenting the game ahead of its Steam Early Access launch later this year.
In ‘83, the Cold War escalated into an all-out warzone after a conflict between NATO Forces and the Warsaw Pact. The game takes you onto large, realistic battlefields, guns behave like their real-world counterparts, and uniforms, vehicles, and weaponry are all period-appropriate. This creates an authentic vision of the battlefield in this alternate history. ‘83 is made to be as realistic as possible without it becoming tedious.
Matches take around 30 to 40 minutes, but dying only takes you out of the match for a short while before you respawn. However, that short period is enough to turn the tide of battle since ‘83 requires communication and teamwork. This is why every role matters, whether you’re a commander or a rifleman. The gameplay is designed to be intense, immersive, and replayable.
