Van Helsing 2 – Runecrafting!

Van Helsing II is getting an upgrade! News of big new features have been announced by the developers. Today we take a look at the Runecrafting system. Runecrafting is a new in-game crafting method that supplements Forging. With Runecrafting you can create a lot of different items, even ones that didn’t exist before! The basics are pretty simple, you destroy items in order to gain fragments, better items will reward more fragments and different fragments.

There are base fragments and enchantment fragments, you can combine 10 of each into an enchantment or a master rune. Once you got a master rune, you can start runecrafting! The master rune will give the item a random enchantment, if you don’t want a random one, you can combine a master rune with an enchantment. This will give the item the specific stats you want. You can unlock up to 4 slots to upgrade your armor or weaponry with, granting multiple stats if you use different combinations, or you can test your luck by trying to max out an enchantment.

Of course, this is a profession of sorts and is not mandatory at all, it is a nice addition to the game though and it’s definitely worth it! If you don’t really get it you can watch this video, everything will have a detailed tutorial in game too, so don’t worry!
