Sandberg 3in1 USB 3.0 Hub Bungee Stand – Hardware Review
What’s in a name? Apparently a lot when looking at Sandberg’s products. The company has the tendency to not only give a fancy name to its products, but also to describe the key characteristics of the product in the device’s name. While many of Sandberg’s eSports equipment gets a badass name, the 3in1 USB 3.0 Hub Bungee Stand commits itself entirely to giving the end-user all the information he or she needs. While the name itself may sound a bit bland or not that catchy, the product itself had us intrigued thanks to the many functions embedded into one device, and also because of its look as an impressive pylon in the midst of your gaming equipment.
Design
The device looks like a beacon of light (when plugged in) that’s hollow on the inside, with a sturdy four-footed base. The device is done in a matte black plastic, which looks quite spiffy. The front part of the device is lined with LED lights, that has seven different options. The base itself has four smaller LEDs that mark the footings of the base. The bottom of the device will also project the Sandberg logo on your desk, table or surface you have the stand on. In the hollow opening of the device, you’ll find a fairly standard rubber bungee for the cable of your mouse.
On the front there is the button to switch the different LED settings, the left, right and backside of the base each have a USB 3.0 port. Ideally, the backside port serves as the connection port. The cable included with the device is made out of a thick plastic/rubbery material that stands out due to its thickness.
Comfort
The device itself doesn’t really involve any factor of comfort when you have finished your set-up. It’s easy to work with, and you have a simple button to change the LED colors. Other than that, the device is easy to clean and it is fairly light and sturdy.
Headsets rest easily on the device, which is, of course, one of the key features of Sandberg’s new product. Their latest headset, the Savage Headset isn’t perfectly designed for this stand, but you can use it for other headsets easily.
The bungee part of the stand is practical and has a proper grip on pretty much all types of standard cables, be it braided ones or normal plastic types. The flexible arm allows for proper movement and the weight of the entire device makes sure you don’t push it aside when parts of your cable curdle up.

As the Hub Bungee Stand will probably be set on your desk in a reachable position, it’s easy to use it for other peripherals or charging cables or USB drives. There actually isn’t that much else to say about this convenient all-in-one stand.
Conclusion
Sandberg’s 3in1 USB 3.0 Hub Bungee Stand is a proper device if you wish to have an accessory that serves as a docking station for all your gaming hardware. While the device doesn’t come at a really low price, it’s a solid investment if you’re looking to get some extra USB ports, a headset stand, and a decent bungee. We can recommend this cool-looking device.
