This year’s Road to Six Invitational starts today!

Today, the Road to Six Invitational in-game event for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege makes its long-awaited comeback. From today until the 21st of February, players will return to the ultimate competitive map: Stadium. Fans of the Road to Six Invitational event will hit the jackpot this year, as both the 2020 Stadium map and the 2021 version will be playable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! In addition, proceeds from the High Calibre Battle Pass, which is already available, will contribute to the prize pool of the 2022 Six Invitational.

During the Road to Six Invitational in-game event, Operators will try to prove who is the best on the two versions of the Stadium map, the competitive map that brings together elements from different Siege maps. The 2020 Stadium map, for example, will feature elements of Hereford Base and Oregon in a night mode, while the 2021 Stadium map will combine Coastline and Border in a day mode. On these maps, bulletproof windows create new situations where players can see each other without being able to confront each other. The games are played in the bomb mode and have Pick & Ban.

During the entirety of this in-game event, the High Calibre Battle Pass remains available with both a free and a premium track, available for 1,200 R6 Credits. The Battle Pass contains 100 tiers with a total of 135 rewards to unlock by February 22nd. Players will also enjoy a weekend of double Battle Pass points on February 5th and 6th. Finally, as much as 30% of Battle Pass sales will contribute to the prize pool of the 2022 Six Invitational (up to a maximum of $3,000,000).

The 2022 Six Invitational is more than a tournament. It is an annual gathering of all fans to celebrate their love of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege together. From the 8th to the 20th of February, the 20 best teams in the world will compete in a safe, competitive LAN environment, in accordance with the guidelines of health organizations and local authorities. Due to current Covid legislation in Canada, it is not possible to host the event in its home country of Canada, therefore the Six Invitational 2022 will take place in Stockholm, Sweden. For security reasons, there will be no public attendance. Rainbow Six Siege fans can, however, tune in digitally via Twitch and YouTube to watch the world’s best teams compete for the world title. Viewers will also get a glimpse of everything the development team has in store for Year 7.
