We Were Here Forever launch trailer revealed

Big news from our neighbors over in the Netherlands; Total Mayhem Games has just revealed the official trailer with in-game footage for their newest co-op puzzle adventure game, We Were Here Forever. In the fourth and largest game in the series, players will enter Castle Rock once more to discover the previously unseen parts and try to escape it. Once outside the keep, you will uncover the story of the town of Rockbury. The town’s inhabitants have formed a resistance against the King and have made escape plans to get out. Hope will lead you to an eerie Graveyard and you descend down into the dark waters of the Foundry. With twenty-two new puzzles and over twelve hours of gameplay, players will find out the past events of this mysterious place.

Key features of the We Were Here series:

  • Two-player co-op: the puzzles you encounter take two to solve – you both have a role to play! Communicate via walkie-talkies, and act as each other’s eyes and ears
  • Connect through experience: when you find yourself in sudden danger, will you freeze, or can you keep cool and explain things clearly to your friend – before your time runs out…
  • On the edge of your seat: be part of a thrilling adventure in the lively world of Castle Rock as you and your friend take on the ancient powers aligned against you
  • Spine-tingling story: there is much to discover… and much to fear – you’ve met the Jester, but is he even the most powerful being within the walls of Castle Rock?

Previously we covered We Were Here Together and We Were Here Too. We Were Here Forever launches on PC through Steam and Epic Games on May 10. The console release on Xbox and PlayStation is planned soon after.
