Kill it With Fire 2 announces a big writer for its story
Kill it With Fire 2 is the hotly anticipated sequel to the original first-person spider-hunter game. Now, developer Casey Donnellan Games and publisher Tinybuild have decided to focus much more on the story this time around. They are now excited to announce the collaboration with writer Miles Luna, famous for his work on projects like RWBY and Red vs. Blue.
Take on the role of a legendary exterminator faced with his toughest job yet, getting rid of the spiders that have broken the space-time continuum. Use your spider-slaying skills to take down the multi-legged creatures through time and space, jumping from abandoned space stations to wild west deserts.
Where the first game focused for the most part on the action-filled spider killing, the sequel delivers much more story and lore this time around. Miles Luna delivers this through a collection of fully voiced audio logs. Both the developer and Miles described this process as pure joy, coming up with hilarious and fun backstories and easter eggs. Be sure to check out the mayhem soon when Kill it With Fire 2 launches on Early Access for PC in early 2024. A full release on PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox Series X/S is planned for late 2024
