Into the Emberlands heads to Early Access
Today, Daedalic Entertainment announced the Early Access arrival of Into the Emberlands on Steam. The game originated from Tiny Roar’s previous project, Wanderful, evolving significantly due to their open and iterative development approach, prompting the adoption of a new name that better reflects the game’s essence. In Into the Emberlands, players enter the titular world, where the peaceful Knacks reside amidst the encroaching Miasma, shrouding everything in darkness. As the designated Lightbearer, equipped with a lantern filled with radiant Ember, your task is to navigate through the thick shroud and rescue those who have lost their way in various biomes.
Traverse procedurally generated landscapes and biomes, each presenting unique challenges and encounters that demand adaptation of your playstyle for success. However, be cautious: if your lantern’s light diminishes during exploration, you risk becoming lost yourself, necessitating the succession of a new Lightbearer. As you gather resources and assist the Knacks in rebuilding, your village will grow, unlocking the mysteries of the Miasma along the way. Developed by Tiny Roar, Into the Emberlands is set to launch on Steam Early Access this summer and is already available for wishlisting.
