WARCANA gets a release date and a demo
Team17 has announced that WARCANA will be launching next month, allowing players to become powerful magicians battling hordes of chaotic enemies. In preparation for the release, a new WARCANA demo is now available and will be playable for one week. The demo includes access to new features and game modes such as Battle Royale, Stream Sniper, Deckbuilding, and Smite Ability.
Key features of the demo:
- Battle Royale: Players can engage in epic battles with up to 30 others, competing against two opponents simultaneously.
- Stream Sniper: This 1 vs 29 mode offers a unique experience where the host can set special modifiers that impact game balance, along with global settings like round time and map choice.
- Deckbuilding: The Occultism, Void Forging, and Fay Calling devotions are now available, allowing players to create their own decks.
WARCANA is a fantasy-inspired base defense RTS game with a deck-building mechanic, where players face off against countless monsters in a battle royale with 30 other magicians. The game is being developed by German indie developer 1000 Orks and will launch on PC via Steam on the 15th of August.
