OhNoo Studio reveals more information of TSIOQUE
A little while ago we announced that TSIOQUE, a 2D point-and-click adventure game had hit Kickstarter. We’re back with some more promising news of the hand-drawn graphical poetry that is TSIOQUE.
TSIOQUE is as you may have noticed from the trailer, an animated adventurous point-and-click game, developed by OhNoo Studio, and was inspired by the classic 80s and 90s point and click titles. The influence gained by Day of the Tentacle, Dragon’s Lair and Humongous Games’ Pajama Sam resulted into a dark and adorable game, offering its very own unique narrative experience.
The game unfolds the tale of the young princess Tsioque, whom is imprisoned by the Evil Wizard. With her long blonde hair and starry blue eyes, she seems like an ordinary princess but the princess has several tricks up her sleeve, making her anything but ordinary. Waiting on Prince Charming to rescue her was never on her to-do list and thus she takes matters into her own hands by using her wits and stubbornness, creating an unintended chaos and destruction wherever she goes.
The narrative may sound familiar but the developers assure us that “you’re in for a nice surprise if you think it’s just about a girl in a castle.” Either way, the game certainly looks promising with the hand-drawn 2D animations seen in the trailer.
