Open Beta PlayStation Now kicks off in Belgium and Netherlands
As of today, gamers from Belgium and the Netherlands can enjoy the pioneering game streaming service that is PlayStation Now. Using a cloud-based technology, PlayStation Now offers access to plenty of highly praised PlayStation 3 titles that are streamed via the cloud. This will give the owners of a PlayStation 4 a chance to play the best PS3 games on the current generation console without having to buy the older generation console.
To enjoy PlayStation Now, you’ll need a Sony Entertainment Network account and an accepted payment method other than the PS4 console, its wireless dualshock 4 controller and a broadband internet connection of at least 5 Mbps.
During the open beta you’ll be given access to more than 200 games in a vast array of genres of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios as well as the best software developers and publishers in the video gaming industry. By signing up for a re-occuring subscription of €16,99, players can indulge in as many games as they possibly can. A free trial of seven days is also available for those who want try the service before signing up more permanently.
What games should you expect to be able to play during this open beta? Well let me tell you that there are quite a few beauties in the line-up starting with Borderlands from 2K Games joined by BioShock Infinite, Dead Island, The Last of Us, Batman Arkham City, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, Rachter and Clank: A Crack in Time, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Ultra Street Fighter IV, XCOM and even Telltale’s Walking Dead season 1 and 2. The line-up in the open beta can change from time to time so be sure to look out for new titles every once in a while.
