Arkham Origins brings 2v3v3 multiplayer to Gotham
Arkham Origins is shaking things up with the announcement of multplayer making its way onto the mean streets for Gotham with 2v3v3 matches. Fans have been wanting to have a way to enjoy busting heads in Gotham as the Batman for a while now hoping for a mode where they and a friend can put on the tights of the worlds greatest detective and the boy wonder together. The latest game in the Arkham series is looking to do just that and more with new competitive multiplayer coming to the game that pits two of Batman’s famous villains against one another as they and their gang fight to control the streets of gotham.
Players will be able to jump into the boots of villains like the Joker and Bane and two of their gang as they battle it out for total domination all the while two players control the Dark Knight himself and the Boy Wonder as they battle to clean up the streets.
I’ll admit Arkham Origins hasn’t gotten me excited yet to make my way back to the streets of Gotham after Arkham City but the new multiplayer has grabbed my attention and I’m anxious to get my hands on it to see if it lives up to the high expectations many are placing on it, or if it’s just an answer to a riddle no one was asking.
Batman: Arkham Origins is set to make its way to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on October 25th unfortunately for those of you who were looking to pick up the game on the Wii U the online multiplayer won’t be making a jump over to Nintendo’s beleaguered console.
