Asterix and Obelix are back in Mission Babylon!
Microids has revealed Asterix & Obelix: Mission Babylon, a new action-adventure game developed by Balio Studio. Players will join the iconic titular Gaulish duo as they embark on an original quest beyond the borders of their homeland, journeying eastward to the edge of the Parthian Empire. Their mission: to save King Monipehni, who has been poisoned by the sinister sorcerer Bahmbuhzeli. With their trademark strength and irreverent humor, Asterix and Obelix must traverse exotic regions, gather ingredients for an antidote, and take on hordes of Roman soldiers along the way.
Designed for both solo play and local co-op, Mission Babylon blends platforming, dynamic combat, and exploration across four newly designed worlds. Each area introduces unique visual styles, gameplay challenges, and environmental details inspired by the beloved comic book series. Players can expect over twenty replayable levels filled with traps, secrets, and boss battles. The game retains the lighthearted tone of the franchise while offering a mix of accessibility and depth suitable for a wide range of players. Asterix & Obelix: Mission Babylon is set for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game is targeting October 30th as its release date.
