Audio-Technica’s next generation of earbuds arrives today
Audio-Technica has introduced its latest True Wireless earbuds, the ATH-CKS30TW+. These in-ear headphones feature active noise cancellation and deep bass, providing an enhanced listening experience. The ATH-CKS30TW+ earbuds are the result of a 15-year effort to achieve super-deep bass. They feature 9 mm drivers and proprietary acoustic channels that control airflow, delivering a soundstage that mimics a live performance with rich lows, detailed mids, and sparkling highs. For those seeking even deeper bass, the Audio-Technica Connect app offers an equalizer setting (Bass Boost – Deep) that further enhances low frequencies. Additionally, the app provides four other presets: Bass Boost – Beat, Dynamic, Vocal, and Clear. These can be set as favorites and automatically activated whenever the earbuds are used. The active noise cancellation (ANC) employs feedforward technology, which can be activated via touch sensors on the earbuds. Transparency and speech modes allow ambient sounds to be heard, enabling conversations without removing the earbuds.
With ANC enabled, the earbuds offer up to 6.5 hours of use on a full charge, extending to 17.5 hours with the compact charging case. Disabling ANC increases battery life to 7.5 hours per earbud, or up to 20 hours with the case. Available in four colors, the ATH-CKS30TW+ earbuds are designed for a secure, comfortable fit that minimizes bass loss and blocks external noise. They are lightweight and have an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, making them suitable for intense workouts and outdoor activities. The earbuds also come with an Out of Range alarm and Product Locator, ensuring they are easy to find if misplaced.
