Aveline de Grandpré will sneak her way into AC IV
When Assassin’s Creed III made it onto store shelves last year we were introduced to a new ancestor of Desmond’s Connor Kenway. He wasn’t the only new Assassin to be introduced to us however as Aveline de Grandpré made her way onto the Vita exclusive Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation and was the first female assassin to be playable in the game.
It seems that she will be making her way out of the handheld system and onto consoles this year thanks to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag with PS3 and PS4 exclusive missions. Her story picks up a ways forward from where Liberation ended so console players will be introduced to an older Aveline as you make your way through 3 exclusive missions centered around the African-French assassin that will take around an hour to complete. Her short journey will be penned by the same writer who worked on Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation and while it won’t be directly related to how her debut title ended be it’s sure to keep is wanting for a full fledged console title starring the female assassin.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is set to make waves onto the PS3, PS4, 360, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U on October 29th.
