Blizzard shows the future with three “Worldsoul Saga” expansions for World of Warcraft
For a game that’s been around since 2004, it’s damned impressive that World of Warcraft is still running. During Blizzcon 2023, Blizzard had some alternate tactics to woo the players into playing World of Warcraft for the rest of their lives. Here they announced the following three expansions instead of one, and they all revolved around a completely new time for WoW players, named The Worldsoul Saga. The three expansions are named The War Within, Midnight, and The Last Titan, starting with a new underground continent with ancient civilizations, and eventually guiding players home to Azeroth. As expected from Blizzard, the first expansion has a great cinematic which was used to ease the players into its announcement.
