Botanica announcement and demo revealed
Botanica is a mystical world where even the tiniest of all can achieve greatness. This game welcomes you into the magical realm where the botanical world and magical world collide. Botanica’s luscious world can be explored by one of the smallest and weakest creatures, Sproutkin. With only its tiny strength, Sproutkin will set off on the most dangerous adventure of a lifetime.
This 2D side-scrolling platformer will have you relying on strategy and skill to explore the world around you. You can slide, hop, and drop using simple control schemes whilst encountering various enemies and puzzles. With every enemy defeated, you will be rewarded with ability seeds, allowing your Sproutkin to absorb all new and different techniques for melee and ranged combat. You can also exchange those abilities by dropping the seeds to change for new ones. Travel further along the path and uncover more and new abilities for your Sproutkin. But beware, for boss encounters will challenge you to the limits.
Whether you’re a seasoned platformer enthusiast or a newcomer to the genre, Botanica offers a unique and rewarding experience. During your adventure, interact with other creatures of the realm who advise you on the challenges that lie ahead.
