Built the best beaver city imaginable in Timberborn for Earth Day
Citybuilders come in all types and flavors these days, but Timberborn might be a first. In this game, you do not build a settlement for humans but for beavers. Aside from this little quirk, it seems to contain all the gameplay mechanics fans of the genre would long for, such as resource management and balancing a supply chain. On top of that, Timberborn brings themes about climate change into the mix. Your beaver constructions will have to manage draughts and irrigate the land, among other things. With this in mind, it’s no surprise this game is part of the Earth Appreciation Festival on Steam, an event that highlights all sorts of games that tackle current topics that affect our communities: climate change, pollution, war, etc. In celebration of Earth Day, over 150 titles can now be bought with discounts.
