Bullet heaven roguelite ‘Maze Mice’ scurries to Early Access on May 2nd
Maze Mice, the latest project from developer TrampolineTales, known for Luck be a Landlord, is coming to PC via Steam. The game will launch in early access on Friday, 2 May 2025. The game combines the popular Bullet Heaven and Roguelite genres, adding a time-freezing twist.
In Maze Mice, you take on the role of a tiny mouse that must dash through the attic to survive. While exploring the labyrinthine attic, you have to escape a horde of vicious cats, ready to pounce at a moment’s notice. Luckily, this mouse has some tricks up his sleeve: when you’re standing still, the timer isn’t running; this gives you the time needed to chart your optimal course. Gather upgrades and boosts, such as health upgrades, offensive options and cat-repelling provisions. If these aren’t enough to ensure your safety, you can also take advantage of hidden passages, back doors, and mouse-sized spaces for some temporary respite.
All of this squeaky goodness comes in an enjoyable, retro pixel aesthetic jam-packed with cosy corners for you to explore. Maze Mice will be available on PC via Steam for early access on Friday, the 2nd of May 2025, with language support for over fifteen languages.
