Check out the combat of Outcast: A New Beginning in a new trailer
Following the success of the initial Outcast game, developers Appeal Studios and THQ Nordic present the eagerly anticipated sequel, Outcast: A New Beginning. In this latest installment, players assume the role of Cutter Slade, a former Navy SEAL, embarking on a mission to earn the trust of the local Talans. By dismantling enemy depots to weaken bases, players can contribute to the uprising. Cutter’s dry humor provides a lighthearted touch to the intense storyline as players re-explore the world of Outcast.
The recently released trailer highlights the dynamic third-person action players will engage in, showcasing a diverse array of weapons. The modular gun serves as a key asset, capable of changing shape with the right attachment. Throughout the gameplay, players will encounter numerous weapon modules, each altering the gun’s behavior. Combining these modules allows for the creation of over 900,000 unique weapon combinations. To enhance defense and offense, players can utilize a versatile shield and take to the skies with an upgradeable jetpack. Additionally, players gain access to Talan powers, leveraging the environment as an ally by summoning flying creatures or utilizing anti-gravity abilities.
Outcast: A New Beginning is slated for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at a later date.
