Donate your blood and become a Lifesaver in Gori
Following a censorship requirement in Japan, Wired Productions and Angry Demon Studio have announced that their upcoming game Gori: Cuddly Carnage will now feature ‘purple juice’ instead of blood in the console versions. This change isn’t just limited to Japan but will also be implemented in Chinese and Korean releases of the game.Inspired by these adjustments, Wired Productions and Angry Demon Studio have also decided to donate blood in the UK and Sweden, aiming to make a positive real-world impact. They are encouraging players to do the same.
Players who share selfies of themselves donating blood on X or Instagram with the hashtag #GorisGotBlood will be featured in the game’s credits as ‘lifesavers’. The teams hope that while the blood may be removed from the game in China, Korea, and Japan, there will still be plenty of real-world impact through these donations. To celebrate, the team has created a new trailer, which you can watch below. Gori: Cuddly Carnage will launch on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on August 29th for $21.99, €21.99, and £17.99. Digital pre-orders are available now.
