Dragon Age: Inquisition – E3
Dragon Age: Inquisition is the newest installment in the role-playing series from BioWare using the Frostbite 3 engine. The lands of Thedas has turned into turmoil due to a cataclysmic event. Creatures such as fierce dragons attack the lands, mages start to battle against templars. Nation after nation will start to turn on each other, leaving Thedas in utter chaos.
Accompanied with a lovely but dramatic sound, we venture through the vast landscapes of forests, mountains and oceans. Each location is as unique as the one before featuring fearsome creatures and stunning flora. Aaryn Flynn, the studio general manager, explains that “Dragon Age: Inquisition marks the beginning of the next generation of BioWare games.” By combining “power narratives” and “expansive, open-world gameplay”, gamers are given the opportunity to explore the world of Thedas with more freedom than ever before.
In a world of chaos, you are the Inquisitor with a past that is masked by secrecy. As the Inquisitor, you will lead a team of powerful heroes into the Inquisition against the evil that has doomed your precious lands. How you lead your team into battle is completely up to you. The combat system allows you to take control of any of your team members, using their abilities to your own advantage. A different approach to battle the creatures that roam Thedas is by using the tactical camera, which is now more powerful than ever. The tactical camera will pause the battle, giving you the opportunity to position your team as you wish.
Discover characters such as Blackwall, a great Warden that will not hesitate to give his own life for the safety of others and Vivienne, better known as the Lady of Iron, a mage with ambition and incredible powers. Whatever their past was, they are now the Inquisition, returning peace to the lands of Thedas.
