Dying Light: The Following trailer revealed
The trailer of Dying Light: The Following was originally showed at Gamescom 2015. After the success, Techland decided to release it world-wide.
“Gamescom 2015 was our first chance to let people play Dying Light: The Following so I was a bit nervous,” admits producer Tymon Smektała. “But so many positive reactions really showed me we made the right decision to work on this expansion. With its new map and far-reaching gameplay additions, it feels like we’ve hit the sweet spot for what players are expecting from us.” he added.
The trailer reveals a story-based expansion of Dying Light, set in a new area as big as the original maps of Dying Light combined. In the expansion, you’ll be following Kyle Crane who travels to a hazardous outback ruled by cultists whose beliefs have connections with the zombie outbreak.
To get closer to the cultists and eventually unravel their secrets, you’ll need to earn the trust of the locals by doing several missions and tasks. Of course, you’re free to choose you infiltrate the inner circles of the cultists. To venture through the rough countryside terrain, players are given access to fully customizable and upgradeable dirt buggies.
A release date is unknown for now but Techland has already confirmed that the expansion will be priced at $14,99 or a local equivalent. Season Pass holders will receive the expansion free of charge.
