Experience Japanese horror in BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA
The header might tip you off that this is a bit of an odd game. IchimatsuSuzuka is a veteran developer in the Japanese horror game scene, releasing several well-reviewed titles in the past. But this upcoming game strikes us as something unique. BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA is a game developed in Unreal Engine where you play a university student who gets entranced in the supernatural happenings of a cursed town. The general vibe is described as nostalgic, taking inspiration from retro horror. As the title suggests, we presume this is a prologue game for a more ambitious title called GUCHA GUCHA that the developers plan to work on later. The impressive key art is made by famous horror mangaka Suehiro Maruo. BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA releases on Steam just in time to celebrate Halloween, on October 23rd to be precise.
