In Empire of the Ants, you play an ant and embark on real-time strategy adventures that require wit, tactical insight, and a little bit of bravery if you want to protect your colony. The game is inspired by a book of the same name, written by Bernard Werber. While it might sound a little silly, the trailer below might change your mind. Not only does Empire of the Ants proclaim to have season-based game mechanics where you encounter different fauna and flora and really experience real-time strategy on a different scale, the graphics are to die for. For that reason, this game was chosen as one of the ‘day one’ titles to drop for PlayStation 5 Pro. But people who have a PC, Xbox Series X/S, or a regular PlayStation 5 will also be able to enjoy Empire of the Ants on November 7, 2024. And for those feeling extra fancy, a deluxe edition with art book and soundtrack is also available.
