Fall of Porcupine dives into the hardships of healthcare workers
It’s no secret that people who work in healthcare have had a rough few years behind them due to the pandemic, though the field is always a highly competitive one that struggles to get the support it deserves. And since video games have unfolded more and more as a way to tell stories, Assemble Entertainment has made a title that tackles exactly that topic. Fall of Porcupine follows a young med student named Finley who travels to a small town for his residency. What’s going on in this town is not all that it seems though. The prologue demo has already been downloaded over 100k times, with much praise from the audience. It’s available on the same platforms the game will be on once it releases: PC, Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The devs have also let us know that heartwarmingly, Fall of Porcupine will be free for any healthcare workers within the US, the UK, or Canada.
