Familiar faces join the fray in DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO!
The latest trailer for Bandai Namco’s upcoming game DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO introduces characters from the Saiyan and Namek sagas of DRAGON BALL Z. In the Saiyan saga, the rivalry between Goku and Vegeta begins, starting with the fight involving Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta. Characters such as Saibaman, a green humanoid grown from a seed, and Chiaotzu, a close ally of Goku, are included from this saga.
The Namek saga follows the journey of Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, and Goku against Frieza, the emperor seeking the Dragon Balls. New characters from this saga include Frieza’s elite troops Cui, Dodoria, and Zarbon, along with the Ginyu Force members Guldo, Recoome, and Captain Ginyu. Nail, a Namekian warrior who fought Frieza, is also available. Frieza appears in various forms from the series: First Form, Second Form, Third Form, Fourth Form, and Fourth Form (Full Power), in which he battles Super Saiyan Goku. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO launches on October 11, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-ordering the game provides early access to characters such as Gogeta, Super Saiyan Gogeta, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta, Broly, Super Saiyan Broly, and Full Power Broly. An additional playable character will be announced later.
