Gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2 revealed
Remember when they first revealed the teaser trailer for Dead Island 2 at E3? It was the one with the catchy song that refuses to leave my head ever since. Now they’ve released the first gameplay trailer of Dead Island 2, revealing the various ways you can kill the zombies that roam the streets of sunny California.
Dead Island 2 continues the story of Dead Island and Escape Dead Island, a few months after the events in Banoi. California has become a paradise for those that wish to hunt down zombies and you can do just that in the multiplayer mode with up to seven other players. Whether you will work together with these players or compete against each other, it is completely up to you in this first person game that offers melee fights with a large range of weapons.
The reveal of the pre-alpha footage of Dead Island 2 is not the only good news we have on the blood and gore game. Those who will be attending Gamescom 2014 can play Dead Island 2 for the very first time at the Deep Silver stand. If these are not enough reasons for you to take a quick peek at the booth, you should really watch the gameplay trailer.
Dead Island 2 is scheduled to release early 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Those who will play Dead Island 2 on the PC can also enjoy a PC-exclusive ZOMBA named Dead Island Epidemic which will have three teams of four players battle it out to survive the incoming hordes of zombies.
