Get a look at Rainbow Six Siege’s next season!
The fourth and final season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s sixth year has been revealed, titled High Calibre. In High Calibre, players will meet a brand new Operator: the defender Thorn, who is equipped with Razorbloom Shells; throwable proximity devices that start a timed explosion when triggered. Players that cannot get out of range of these shells before time is up will suffer massive damage upon detonation. Thorn is an Operator with an average armour level and speed, and carries the new UZK50Gi or the M870 as his primary weapon and the 1911 TACOPS or C75-AUTO as his secondary weapon. Players that team up with this new Operator will get to work on the redesigned Outback map. Changes were made to rebalance this map, including changes to the main building layout and its environment, providing more strategic options for attackers, new soft exterior walls and changes to certain areas to increase visibility and balance.
In addition to these major content additions, a slew of smaller updates is also included with High Calibre, including but not limited to team colour choices, rebalancing of Operators Finka and Echo and several QoL changes. Players will be able to experience High Calibre today as the Test Server goes live. The Test Server’s format has been updated as well and it will be open at three different moments during the season, with new content spread out over these moments. Players are encouraged to report issues they encounter on the test server on the renewed R6 Fix platform, which is now easier to navigate and provides new options like a search bar and the ability to keep track of fixes for player-reported bugs. Finally, players will earn double Battle Pass points for the current season, Crystal Guard, from November 12th to November 15th. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. It is also part of Ubisoft’s proprietary Ubisoft+ subscription service.
