In the latest gameplay trailer of XCOM 2, the Avenger is showcased. You’ll get to see what the Avenger is all about and your role in the research and resource management aspects of the game. You run with a skeleton crew on your mobile HQ, and your decisions will shape the outcome of the battle.
The events of XCOM 2 start twenty years after the alien invasion and the world has surrendered to the alien invaders. Humanity hasn’t given up fighting back however. The resistance is starting up and it’s up to you to strike back and take back the planet.
