In-depth view of the gaming products announced by Acer at Next@Acer

We’ve published an overview of all new products and product updates that were announced by Acer at the Next@Acer yearly press conference, and in this post, we’d like to highlight some of the products specifically targeted at gamers!

First, we’d like to take a look at the new Predator Triton and Helios series gaming notebooks.
The new Predator Triton 500 SE is a “special edition” notebook designed for gamers who want a machine capable of getting through both the latest AAA games and the workday. This notebook pushes performance-per-pound limits, packing as much power as possible and up to a 240 Hz display into a 19.9 mm thin chassis, with a clean, understated new design and up to 12 hours of battery life! The Predator Helios 500 Gaming Notebook boasts up to an overclockable 11th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU and 64 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory, a pair of PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 and one SATA HDD, and comes with either an FHD 360 Hz display with a 3 ms response time or a 4K 120 Hz Mini LED display that supports full-array local dimming.

Next, we’ll take a look at the updated Predator Orion and Nitro gaming desktops.
The updated range of gaming desktops includes the new 11th Gen Intel Core desktop processors or AMD Ryzen 5000 Series desktop processors, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs! The refreshed Predator Orion 3000 is designed for gamers who are seeking the best-in-class hardware experience that a mid-tower rig can deliver, whether you use it for gaming, streaming, or video editing. The new Nitro 50 series is for gamers who want improvement across the board; offering a choice of the latest Intel or AMD processors, both powerful enough to not only play games at the highest settings and offer an amazing immersive experience, but also edit videos of gameplay!

Besides these full gaming systems, Acer also announced some other amazing new gaming hardware and peripherals, like three new HDR monitors, a gaming mouse, a 5G CPE router, and a 5G dongle!

First, let’s take a look at the specs of these monitors!
The Predator CG437K S is a massive 42.5-inch UHD gaming monitor that supports HDMI 2.1 which can be used for both PC or console gaming. The Predator X38 S is an esports-oriented 37.5-inch monitor with a UWQHD+ 175 Hz (overclocked) display and a 0.3 G-to-G response time, curved to offer a more immersive gameplay experience. The Predator X28 is a 28-inch TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified gaming monitor with a 155 Hz display (overclocked) and Delta E<1 color accuracy!

Next up are the mouse and networking peripherals!
The Predator Cestus 335 is an ergonomic gaming mouse with a PixArt 3370 sensor and 2,000 Hz polling rate, allowing every movement, shot or heal to be placed with pinpoint precision. The mouse has 10 programmable buttons in total, letting gamers quickly eliminate opponents without having to rely on keyboard hotkeys.
The Predator Connect X5 5G CPE Router is the first Intel Killer-compatible 5G CPE in the world, capable of providing 5G connectivity at up to an impressive 4.7 Gbps! Designed with the needs of gamers in mind, a dedicated onboard GAME Port allows for the fastest uncompromised throughput. Furthermore, users can connect up to 256 devices via the X5’s Wi-Fi 6 capabilities to game, stream and share content without any slowdowns.
The Predator Connect D5 5G Dongle is designed for mobile PC gamers, unleashing the potential of a computer’s built-in Intel Killer Network Solution via a USB 3.1 Type-C port. On top of providing blazing fast 5G speeds and enabling a computer to be used as a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, the dongle prioritizes bandwidth allocation and reduces latency in order to improve a user’s overall gaming experience.

These are all very promising products, taking gaming (and streaming) to the next level, fully making use of the newest technologies!
