Indie title Balloon Fight announced for Switch
RedDeer.Games has announced that it will be bringing Balloon Fight to the Switch later this week, a brand new title not to be confused with the classic NES game with the same title. This new physics-based indie game sees players shoot balloons with a balloon gun, attaching them to whatever they deem fit to be sent into the air. The game was developed by Ben Braß and Patrick de Rijk. It started out as a small project with the goal to create a physics-based arcade game with an interesting flying mechanic. After prototyping the balloon gun, it quickly turned out to be a lot of fun to fly around, so the team added some challenges in the form of various floating islands that the player has to pass.
KEY FEATURES:
- Satisfying gameplay
- Simple mechanics
- Great replay value
- Unique aesthetic
- Physics-based gameplay
Balloon Fight arrives on Switch this Friday, May 27th. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer below to see what it’s all about.
