Kainga: Seeds of Civilization is headed to Steam Early Access!
Today, Green Man Gaming Publishing and solo game designer Erik Rempen lifted the veil on the Steam Early Access release date for the highly anticipated roguelite village-builder Kainga: Seeds of Civilization. The game made a splash when it was revealed to the public through a successful Kickstarter campaign and has received in-depth game testing with the community since then. In Kainga: Seeds of Civilization, players get the opportunity to create flourishing new cultures as they adapt to the procedurally generated environment. Player-made choices can make the difference between a happy and thriving society or a civilization doomed to destruction.
The game’s unique approach to short, 30 minute-to-1-hour challenges ensures that each game of Kainga: Seeds of Civilization feels fresh and diverse. The thinker skill tree allows players to select research from a diverse, branching technology inspired by real-life civilizations from around the world. Using technology is going to be essential to adapt to the terrain and resources and protect your civilization against the elements, disasters, other villages, and even the beasts that roam the lands. Thankfully, skilled players will also be able to tame beasts and use them to their advantage. Kainga: Seeds of Civilization will be launching on Steam Early Access on 11th November and fans can wishlist the game and download a playable demo version on Steam here.
