Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is available now
All the way back in 2017 we were presented with maybe one of the most fantastic collaborations ever. This was Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and a year later it got even better thanks to the Donkey Kong DLC. In the newest title in the series, we return to the heroes from the first Mario and Rabbids game who now take on Cursa, an evil cosmic entity that wants to create chaos in the universe. Cursa and its followers want to consume all energy and destroy those who oppose them. Players will traverse the universe and explore different planets filled with unique inhabitants and funny secrets, while being accompanied by a colorful cast of characters, including Bowser and Rabbid-Rosalina. During these adventures, players need to save Sparks and let them join the team. Heroes can be coupled with Sparks, which all have their own personalities and unique abilities.
Ubisoft has decided to change the gameplay to make the combat feel more direct by mixing turn-based tactics and real-time action elements. In the previous game, you had to pick your path and action, now you move around freely within a certain area so you feel more in control than before.
