Metro: Last Light delayed
After the collapse of THQ its easy to be concerned about what is happening to the games that were relatively close to coming out, like Relic’s Company of Heroes 2 or 4A games Metro: Last light the sequel to the cult hit Metro 2033.
Deep Silver the publisher that purchased both 4A games and the rights to the Metro franchise announced yesterday that the game is getting delayed a month from its original release date. Metro: Last Light was supposed to be released at the end of this month but has since been pushed back to May 14th in North America and May 17th to everywhere else.
Deep Silver stated that the title was pushed back to allow 4A games the time to polish the game up to a fine sheen. 4A games was vocal during the development of the game that they believed they needed more time to polish the game up before they wanted to release it, but the then publisher THQ wanted the game pushed out hoping that it might help keep the publisher afloat.
