Modern Warfare II second season and Warzone 2.0 out now
Activision and Blizzard have announced new content for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0, the latest iteration of the popular video game franchise, in a press release. The update includes the release of season 2 of the Modern Warfare II battle pass, which offers players access to four new weapons, four new maps, and the return of legendary samurai Daniel “Ronin” Shinoda. Additionally, Ranked Play is available in Multiplayer mode, and the Warzone 2.0 map can now be played in Resurgence and DMZ modes.
Other features included in the update are the return of the Hardcore mode and various fun modes to test players’ skills. Warzone 2.0 also offers new contracts, a new map, and is completely free to download and play.
Key features of Modern Warfare II include the chance for players to prove their skills in Ranked Play, two Core Maps and two Battle Maps, and access to half a dozen modes, including Infected, Gun Game, and Grind. Further modes, such as Drop Zone, One in the Chamber, and All or Nothing, will be added later in the season.
Key features of Warzone 2.0 include the return of Resurgence mode with a new Warzone Map, Ashika Island, and a new contract, public event, and more. DMZ mode also expands to Ashika Island, allowing players to earn a new permanent reward and Contraband.
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 are now available on all platforms.
