Monster Hunter goes Final Fantasy
There will be a crossover event for two big titles – Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. You’ll need to take up arms against the King of the Skies, Rathalos. This ferocious boss will be a part of the newest patch, together with the next episode for the Forbidden Land Eureka. If you’re a level 70 that completed the Stormblood mission, you’re able to battle this enemy in Normal or Extreme mode. The difference is between the amount of players that are able to compete, namely 8 or 4. To help you beat it, you can also use some mechanics from Monster Hunter: World.
These are some things you can expect:
- New main mission
- New sidequests
- New dungeons – The Burn and Saint Mocianne’s Arboretum (Hard)
- New trial
- New raid
- Lot’s of updates and rewards like a new armor set, minions, mount, …
If that isn’t enough, there is also a new season of Final Fantasy XIV Online on the way. The Fan Festival tour starts on the 16th and 17th of November in Las Vegas, going to Paris on the 2nd and 3rd of February and ends in Tokyo in March. More info can be found here.
