Mugen Souls Z for PS3 hits Europe and North America in May

To be fair, this will probably turn out to be even more of a niche game than even that genre usually warrants as cutesy characters, a colourful anime-style and some quirky dialogue seem to make up most of Mugen Souls Z.

Still, producer NIS America is promising lots of customisation to, and I quote, “quench even the most hardcore RPG’s fan’s thirst.”

Mugen Souls Z stars Chou-Chou, God of the Universe in a story that is supposed to revolve around the zodiac. You might want to have played the first Mugen Souls, as Z’s story will kick off right after the end of the first game’s events.

In short; twelve new worlds to explore, a new cast, a promise of even more frantic combat and one gigantic wardrobe, are what is promised.
