Batman: Arkham Origins-trailer
The first trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins has just gone live. (Well, pretty much an update of their first shorter Teaser trailer.) Though it doesn’t show any actual gameplay. Batman is younger and hasn’t gone face to face with many of his rogue’s gallery yet in the upcoming prequel to the Arkham games. Black Mask has put a bounty on the Bat and 8 of the DCU’s deadliest assassin’s have come to Gotham City on Christmas eve to take him out and claim it as their own.
The first and most prominent assassin we’ve seen is Deathstroke and as he starts to put the hurt on Batman in the CG trailer we’re quick to realize he isn’t the only one, as Deadshot joins the fray making sure that Deathstroke isn’t the one to claim the prize.
The trailer also shows that Deathstroke will be making an appearance as a playable DLC character, though whether he will feature into the game the same way the Catwoman DLC did with playable sections in the main game. Or he will be playable as challenge room missions like Nightwing, Robin, and the Joker was in the previous games isn’t clear.
Batman: Arkham Origins is set to come to the 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC on October 25th.
Note: Extra information provided by Craig – yay for team effort!
