New indie Metroidvania-inspired platformer Chrysolite coming soon
It’s a classic tale for Metroidvanias: you are a lone knight exploring an ancient kingdom that has fallen to ruins. As you travel, you fight enemies, unlock new powers, and uncover the sad history of a once-thriving place fallen into tragedy. While we’ve seen it done before, we still enjoy it. Upcoming narrative-driven, pixel-art 2D Metroidvania-inspired platformer Chrysolite has that same familiar premise, though the hand-drawn art gives this title a certain charm right from the start. Curious wanderers should check out the trailer below and keep an eye on Steam, where the Metroidvania Fusion Steam Event takes place this week. During this week, you can get the first demo for Chrysolite and try it for free. The full version should be out around the summer of this year.
