New trailer gives an extended look at Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
Today, a brand new trailer was released for Intelligent Systems and Koei Tecmo’s upcoming title Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. The three-minute video, titled Mysterious Mercenary Trailer reveals more info about the protagonist, Shez, and also hints at some of the story elements for the game. It appears that Byleth, the protagonist from Fire Emblem: Three Houses takes on the role of antagonist in Three Hopes, under the moniker of the Ashen Demon. The three house leaders team up with Shez to face off against this new threat. The trailer also confirmed that Three Hopes will feature three branching storylines, with each of the house leaders taking up a major role, similar to the way Three Houses was structured.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is the second game in the Fire Emblem Warriors spin-off series. Just like the Hyrule Warriors games did with The Legend of Zelda, this subseries takes a popular Nintendo IP, in this case, Fire Emblem, and blends it with the gameplay from Koei Tecmo’s Samurai Warriors series. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is set to release on the 24th of June, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. A limited edition, containing the game alongside a set of five acrylic figures, an art book, a postcard set, and a cloth wall scroll depicting a map of Fòdlan is available for preorder from select retail partners in Europe.
