New webseries dives into the development of Hardspace: Shipbreaker
A new web series focusing on the development of upcoming title Hardspace: Shipbreaker goes behind the scenes of the game. The first episode, which you can find below, offers a deep dive into Hardspace: Shipbreaker’s universe and gameplay, as well as the player’s purpose in the harsh setting. Canadian studio Blackbird Interactive, currently best known for their work on the Homeworld Franchise, shows viewers what goes on behind their doors while they are working on the development of the new title.
Developed by the aforementioned Blackbird Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive, Hardspace: Shipbreaker offers players a unique blue-collar space sandbox game. In the game, players are tasked with salvaging valuable tech from space ships in order to pay off their billion credits debt to the LYNX corporation. The game is set to launch on Steam Early Access on June 16th and is available to wishlist now. It will launch on PS4 and Xbox One at a later date.
