Nintendo revealed some more details on Pokemon Go Pikachu/Eevee!
Nintendo revealed some more details on Pokemon Go Pikachu and Pokemon Go Eevee during the E3 event this week. Launching on November 16th this year on the Switch, the games will be aimed at the Pokémon adepts, featuring a simplified playstyle compared to the original Pokémon games. While very similar to Pokémon Go for mobile, the Switch version will feature local and online fighting and trading – the latter requiring a paid service called ‘Nintendo Switch Online’. That service will be launched in September.
There is also more news on the Poké ball plus. This item enables you to carry a Pokémon with you, earning candy – much like your buddy in Pokémon Go mobile. The ball comes with Mew inside, making it possibly the only way to acquire this Pokémon. It is possible to transfer Pokémon caught on the mobile game to the Switch game, but Mew is (one of) the exception(s). Pokemon that you do can transfer can subsequently be caught. Pokémon level up and can be turned into candy in a similar manner as in the mobile games. More information on the official site or check out the trailer below!
