Nubarron: The Adventure of an Unlucky Gnome – Kickstarter Project
Nubarron is a dark puzzle platformer where the dramatic relationship between Cloud and Gnome is portraited in a beautiful digital painted world. The game can be funded until november the 22nd this year.
The story of Nubarron is set in the Peaceful forest of the Deep Blue Sky, a forest where there is trouble everywhere in the neighborhood because something is terrible wrong with one of its people.
The main character of the game, Gnome, lost his lucky hat which turns out to be the beginning of a cycle of unfortunate events. Gnome’s hat was the source of all his luck, and instead there is now a cloud one top of his head. Its name is Cloud and she seems to like to hit things with lightning. And so our unfortunate Gnome goes in search for his hat and starts his adventure.
The purpose of the game is to avoid all the lightning bolts that Cloud sends after you and use them to your advantage. If you happen to run into enemies, you can use the lightning bolts to attack them and clear your way. Because lightning is a light source, you can use the bolts to lighten your path and use it as a means to power up machines. Aside from that you can set stuff on fire, which might be useful when something is standing in your way.
The game is being developed by a team of independed game developers from Buenos Aires, Argentina called Nastycloud. They hope that they will be able to produce tons of content besides the game itself.
